A Filipino citizen has been arrested by police, suspected of stealing items of considerable value from the home of an Albanian family in the "Ambassador 3" complex in the capital, over a period of about two years.

Investigations have also revealed that at different times, sums of money ranging from 100 to 500 euros were taken, reaching a total of around 20 thousand euros.

After the complaint, the police launched an investigation and concluded that the suspected perpetrator was the housekeeper. According to the data, she had obtained a copy of the apartment key and entered the apartment in the absence of the owners.

During a search of her apartment, authorities seized some of the stolen items, including a Bulgari locket and a pair of Elisabetta Franchi earrings. However, the majority of the reported items have not yet been recovered.

The investigation revealed that the suspect had also committed thefts in other homes belonging to relatives of the family where she worked. It was also discovered that over a four-month period she had visited a casino in the "Taijvani" area of ??Tirana 171 times.

The foreign national admitted to the criminal offenses during questioning, stating that she no longer possesses the stolen items.
