A tragic incident has rocked the village of Cossombrato, in the province of Asti, Italy, today, where an Albanian man killed his ex-wife and her partner, before committing suicide. The incident occurred after a possible conflict between the couple.

Astrit Koni, a 57-year-old Albanian, killed his ex-wife, Drita Koni, and her new partner with a pair of scissors, which are usually used for cutting tree branches.

After the murder, he jumped from the village castle, where he worked as a gardener.

The Albanian couple had lived in Italy for about 20 years, where they had created a peaceful life, but it seems that their relationship had ended in tension.

Police have launched investigations to uncover the motives behind the incident. The Carabinieri are examining the possibility of a conflict that occurred before the murders and are seeking information that could help clarify this case.

The community of Cossombrato and the entire surrounding area are shocked by the loss of two lives and by the tragic act that marks the end of a history of unimaginable violence.
