Prostitution group in Shkodra dismantled, three girls from Colombia arrested!

Another case of prostitution has been cracked down on by the police.

In the '3 Heronjtë' neighborhood in  Shkodra  , in two rented apartments, the police have found and arrested 5 people, 2 girls from Colombia who were engaging in illegal activity, 2 young men, and the owner of the apartments has been placed under investigation.

The latter is accused of the criminal offense of " Maintaining premises for prostitution ".

Police announcement:

The police operation codenamed "Rent Home 3" is finalized, another prostitution case is cracked.

Three Colombian citizens were arrested for practicing prostitution in two apartments they had rented.

Two more citizens were arrested for prostitution, and the citizen who rented the apartments to them was criminally prosecuted.

A sum of money, suspected to have been obtained from prostitution, was seized, as well as 6 mobile phones.

Specialists of the Traffic Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Shkodra Police Commissariat, in continuation of their work to crack down on illegalities, based on information obtained through operational means, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Rent Home 3".

As a result of this operation, an apartment was discovered in the "3 Heronjtë" neighborhood, where prostitution was practiced.

As part of the operation, 5 citizens were arrested, caught in the apartment premises, specifically:

Colombian nationals AM, 48 years old, PB, 32 years old, and DR, 27 years old, who had rented the apartment and adapted it for the practice of prostitution;

-FV, 28 years old, resident of the village of Vermosh, and KG, 24 years old, resident of Bajza.

The materials were also referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen DD, 27 years old, for the criminal offense of "Maintaining premises for prostitution".

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to fully document the case and identify other citizens who may be involved.

"The procedural materials were passed to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police statement said.
