Fire at the palace in Tirana, Rama: The flames had nothing to do with the construction materials!

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the next episode of the Flasim Podcast, commented on the fire that broke out a few days ago in the building in the area called Farmacia 10 in Tirana.

The head of government reiterated that the building will be entirely built by the builder, while adding that until reconstruction, those affected will receive a rental bonus and support from the municipality.

Rama: During this week there was a moment that, for the sake of truth, was initially terrifying because the flames that engulfed a building in Tirana seemed to seriously threaten the lives of the residents, but, fortunately and thanks to the truly professional, but above all heroic, effort and work of the firefighting forces, everything passed without any lives lost and without serious injuries. Meanwhile, what was left after the fire was the burning of that building, for which we immediately set in motion and the first and most important thing, in my opinion, is that the building will be completely rebuilt from scratch, 100% by its builder himself and on the other hand, the commitment to help the residents so that, until the moment – ??and I believe it will not take long, because the carbine is there – but until the moment when those residents return home, they can have a rent bonus and, of course, also support from the municipality to ease the burden created by the irreparable damage that has occurred in their apartments. Now, always in these cases, all kinds of omniscientists and all kinds of public experts immediately appear, like mushrooms after the rain, but without the licenses and without the necessary knowledge to take on such a role. But anyway, both because of emotions, and because of the need to take on the role, who does not come out and what does not say. The truth is that this was a disaster caused by a spark, by a fire, if you will, which has nothing to do with the construction itself, but, on the other hand, this is a reason to see and understand properly what is related to the quality and construction materials, even though, from the first verification that was made, the construction had all certified materials and came from imports, so I do not want to dwell on this point any longer. The most important thing is that none of those residents who experienced that dramatic moment, who fortunately and, I repeat, thanks, first and foremost, to the fire brigade, but also to the police forces present there, did not return in a tragic moment, will not be left alone and will not be left to their fate in the face of the need to return and live normally in a completely rebuilt apartment of their own.
