He had hidden 30,000 euros in the truck, the 38-year-old is being prosecuted

A 38-year-old man with the initials G. Gj was criminally prosecuted by the police in Kapshtica today, after he had hidden 30,000 euros in the cabin of a truck with the purpose of trafficking to Albania.

Police notification:

PKK Kapshticë/ The 38-year-old man was criminally prosecuted for hiding 30,000 euros in the cab of the truck he was driving to bring to Albania without declaring it.

The amount of euros is seized. Following the work of the Border Police services, with the aim of preventing and cracking down on illegalities at the border, at the Kapshtica PKK, at the entrance of RSh, the "Volvo" truck, with leading citizen G. Gj.. During the controls, 30,000 euros were found hidden in the tape of the truck cabin, which citizen G. Gj. intended to bring them into Albania, without declaring compliance with the laws in force.

At the end of the procedural actions for the case, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of DVKM Korçë referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for the citizen G. Gj., 38 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offense "Failure to declare at the border of of money and valuables". Also, they seized as material evidence, the amount of euros.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
