"Four years of resistance", Spahiu: We stand strongly by

Although four years have passed since the start of the war in Ukraine, the resistance of the Ukrainian people to defend freedom and sovereignty continues to be a testimony related to Europe's security in the face of Russian aggression.

This was the position that Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Klodiana Spahiu conveyed to Ukrainian Ambassador Volodymyr Shkurov, during the "Four Years of Resistance" event that took place in front of the Tirana Municipality.

"Albania will continue to stand steadfast alongside allies and partners in support of the just struggle of the Ukrainian people," the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament told Ambassador Volodymyr, reiterating once again the position that the Albanian government remains an ally of Ukraine.

"Supporting Ukraine is a responsibility to protect freedom," added the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament.

Also present at the event were the acting mayor of Tirana, Anduela Ristani, the EU ambassador, Silvio Gonzato, as well as other ambassadors of European Union countries, but not only.

Also present were Ukrainians who already live in Albania.
