Gazment Bardhi spoke after the Immunity Council meeting on the Belinda Balluku case. Bardhi accused Prime Minister Rama of ordering the 5 socialist members to become shields for Balluku.

Bardhi also revealed SPAK's position inside the meeting, where they demanded her arrest, while saying that the 'strongmen' threatened the witnesses.

As Bardhi said, prosecutors have stated that they are investigating whether or not these people are connected to the crime.

" No surprise, Rama had ordered his 5 members to become a political shield for the corrupt Balluku. What SPAK confirmed is that the criminal situation against Balluku has become much more serious compared to the first measures that the court has given against her. The measures that at this point in the investigation cannot protect the impartial and complete investigation by the prosecution. At the moment when the taking of coercive and prohibitive measures against Balluku was requested in the GJKKO, she risked a sentence of up to 10 years, today that we are talking about, if the charges are proven, Balluku risks up to 35 years in prison. This shows that we are in a serious situation.

Prosecutors, in a shocking testimony, have made available to the council evidence of how Balluku through two forms, the first form through the strongmen they are investigating, if it comes to persons of crime it is under investigation, and they reserved the right not to give details. They have threatened witnesses in the Balluku case with their lives; and the second form, through high-ranking public officials, who first threatened the witnesses that they would fire those who testified against Balluku, namely the mother and father.
