The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has denounced what he calls a "serious crime" on the Dragostunjë-Përrenjas road axis, accusing the contracting company ANK of taking gravel from the Shkumbin riverbed.

According to Berisha, this intervention has caused the foundation to move and the road to slide, seriously damaging the area's infrastructure.

In a Facebook post, Berisha also published a message from a digital citizen, who indicates that the company's intervention occurred two weeks ago and caused the landslide in the same location.

"This is how the construction company demolished the Dragostunjë-Përrenjas road, taking the gravel from the river! I denounce with the greatest force this serious crime that punished the entire southeast of the country! " Berisha wrote in his post.
