Adrian Piccoli, a former RENEA officer accused by SPAK of participating in an assassination attempt, was extradited from Germany.

He was wanted in the framework of operation codenamed "Revanshi" on charges of illegal possession and manufacture of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition.

Picli is accused of collaborating with members of the Reçi tribe in the assassination committed by Preng Gen on 15 September 2020, at around 6:50 p.m., at the site called the Nishrak Bridge, where the target was seriously injured.

Piccoli's role is suspected of having been the insurance of the crack.

ON THE OTHER HAND, INTERPOL:

He is extradited from Germany, a citizen charged by the GJKO, with participation in a structured criminal group, for possession of firearms.

As a result of the continued cooperation between Interpol Tirana specialists and counterparts in Germany, citizen A. P., 29, was extradited.

The Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime, on 15.05.2024, has assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Illegal carrying and manufacturing of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", carried out within the structured criminal group.

The procedurale materials were passed to the Prosecution office for further action.
