He stabbed a man 62 times, the Albanian sentenced to life in England will serve
Erlin Hasa

An Albanian citizen in England, sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, will infiltrate Albania.

35-year-old Erlin Hasa is one of the 15 murderers from Albania, who will serve the remainder of their sentence in their homeland.

The 35-year-old killed a man, stabbing him 62 times. According to the British media, Hasa is one of the 200 most dangerous criminals in Britain, which will be infiltrated, according to the agreement reached between the two countries.

The transfer follows months of negotiations between Justice Ministry officials in both countries after Rishi Sunak first discussed the plan with Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama in Downing Street in March.

This will save the British government millions of pounds and create space in Britain's overcrowded prisons.
