Constitutional Court rejects dove Gjoka's request, "SKY ECC"

The Constitutional Court has rejected the request of businessman Dove Gjoka for the announcement of communications in the SKY ECC application as unconstitutional.

Dove Gjoka, arrested within the codenamed "Metamorphosis" operation, is accused of a series of serious criminal offenses, some of which were managed to be revealed thanks to the communications he had made through this platform with characters of the world of crime.

The Constitutional Court thus establishes a precedent for accepting communications from encrypted platforms SKY ECC or EncroChat in court proceedings, which other EUROPEAN Union countries, including Strasburk, have previously made.

Lawyers and defendants have consistently claimed that "SKY ECC" communications should not be accepted because of the way they were obtained.
