The Supreme Court upholds the life sentence for the "hitman" Salvatore Letizia. In the consultation room, the decision of the former Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes in 2019 for the event known as the "massacre" on "Zogu i I" boulevard was upheld.

The event took place on May 27, 2015, the day when the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, visited Tirana. In an assassination attempt near the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Besnik Sulku, Mentor Lufi (Doçi) and Gert Goxhaj were killed.

The Italian Salvatore Letizzia and the two brothers Markeljan and Klevis Doçi were arrested as perpetrators. Even for the latter, the Supreme Court has upheld the sentence of 27 and 20 years in prison. Salvatore Letizzia, from Naples, known as a hired killer, is also known as part of the Italian mafia organization, "Camorra".

Letizia was hired by Besnik Sulku to execute Mentor Doçin, whom he accused of being responsible for the murder of his brother, Durim Sulku, in the Netherlands. Mentor Doçi was accompanied by his two grandsons, brothers Markeljan and Klevis Doçi. It was these last two who executed Besnik Sulku, the organizer of the assassination, who was accompanied by the "Camorra" killer in this event. Mentor Lufi's friend, Gert Goxhaj, was also a victim of the assassination attempt.
