The trial for the former Minister of Defense, Fatmir Mediu, who was charged in the " Gërdeci " case, has been postponed again.

It is learned that the reason is the lack of lawyers for the head of the Republican Party.

They did not appear at the session on the grounds that they have other commitments. The next court session will take place on May 24 at 12:00.

Mediu was taken as a defendant by SPAK, which closed the investigations and sent the case to the former minister for trial, regarding the explosion that happened in Gërdec.

In the announcement of SPAK, it was stated that at the end of the investigations, it was decided that the case will be sent to GJKKO, with the accusation of abuse of duty carried out in cooperation.
