A serious incident was recorded on Saturday afternoon in Tirana, in the Oxhak area, where a 47-year-old man was found without signs of life inside his vehicle.

The victim is taxi driver Uljan Kolgjegja , who is suspected of having suffered a heart attack while behind the wheel on the afternoon of May 2.

Shortly before the incident, he had been in good health and was normally continuing his daily activities.

It is learned that Kolgjegja had transported a client to the Pediatric Hospital and during the return, after stopping near the Oxhak area, it is suspected that he suffered a fatal heart attack.

The news of his untimely passing has shocked his family, friends, and acquaintances, who describe him as a respected and beloved man.

Meanwhile, Kolgjegja was not an unknown name to the public. In 2020, he was involved in an incident in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where he attempted to set himself on fire with gasoline after his license was revoked by the police for a traffic violation.

He also became known for his public statements regarding well-known figures, including Sali Berisha, as well as the "king" of gambling, Ervis Martinaj.

In an earlier interview, Kolgjegja had spoken openly about his relationship with the Martinaj family. He stated that he had a strong emotional connection with Ervis and Brilant Martinaj, considering them very close people, and had even gotten a tattoo for Vis.

" I had Brilant as my little brother. Vis is my king. Without Vis I can't breathe. The day Vis dies, that day I will be in the next world too. I have a feeling that Vis will be fine. Brilant is my little brother. When I turned 18, I took him by taxi to Europe, to Amsterdam. What they did for Brilant... God delays but never forgets. I met him often. The last time we talked about our jobs, those things are not said. Things like that. He really enjoyed music, he followed music. He finished after Stress. He was into music. My brother. For Vis, I can't breathe without him. I don't even put my family before him. Let them know. It's my feeling that he hasn't found anything. I communicate week after week. He goes to Brilant, I go to them too. The media publishes things, understand for yourself how they were done. I give them courage. I made Vis a tattoo on the hand 2 years ago. Brilant said, get me a tattoo too. Always persistent, and Stress was also present. I will make Brilant's portrait. I did not do this for clients. They do not talk about the photos that I have placed. Those who cut off Brilant's dream have made a big mistake. God delays but does not forget, for those three I have. They will receive the punishment they deserve. They receive the punishment from the state. The law decides. It is normal that the law decides. The lion walks on its own. He is my king, Visi. Visi is not affected, let everyone forget it ", Kolgjegja said at the time.
