Mariglen Koçiu , the person who lost his life two days ago on the Lushnja-Tirana highway, turns out to be a well-known lawyer.

His colleagues and friends have shared messages of condolence on social networks, reacting with sadness to his untimely departure.

The 56-year-old was walking from one side of the highway to the other, when he was hit by a car driven by citizen Lulzim Balilaj.

Unfortunately, as a result of the injuries sustained in the collision, lawyer Mariglen Koçiu died at the scene. The accident happened at 02:00 am on Saturday and today it is known that the victim is a well-known lawyer.

Police notification:

At around 02:00 in the morning, on the "Lushnje-Tirana" road axis, the citizen LB, driving the vehicle, hit the pedestrian, the citizen MK, 56 years old, who died at the scene as a result of the collision.

The LB citizen was escorted to the police station for further action. The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident .

The highway Lushnjë-Tirana and vice versa is one of the black spots of accidents in our country, because the residents of the area and other citizens who want to go from one side to another, do not choose overpasses, but cross the lanes on foot, became a source of accidents.
