A 37-year-old man and other people were massacred along with others in the pedestrian area in front of the Municipality of Vau i Dejës on August 19th. The wanted suspect was captured at the border near Greece.

The location and handcuffing was carried out by the Kapshtica Border Police in Korça, who notified their colleagues in Shkodra and handcuffed 28-year-old Geralt Hoxha , a resident of Klos i Matit.

"This citizen was declared wanted, as it is suspected that, in collaboration with another yet unidentified citizen, on August 19, 2025, in the pedestrian area in front of the Municipality of Vau i Dejës, they punched and hit citizen DL, 37 years old, with hard objects," the police announced.

In parallel, investigations are continuing to document the circumstances of the case and to identify and capture the other suspected perpetrator of this event, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office.
