Details from the arrest of the group that trafficked weapons from Shkodra to Tirana, from where they arrested, among them, the Prison Police officer, Denisa Halilaj , 22 years old.

They were arrested in the act while they were trafficking 9 weapons towards Tirana, with the aim of selling them to criminal groups.

The group of 5 people secured weapons in Shkodër and last evening they were carrying out traffic. They had hidden 4 automatic weapons and 5 rifles inside a suitcase in the trunk of the car. Upon the intervention of the police, they were caught in a parking lot on Rinasi street.

Tirana traffic had received information about the criminal group that would come from Shkodra to sell weapons in Tirana.

Immediately after that, they organized the operation to capture them in flagrante delicto. The 5 arrested persons were moving in two vehicles.

In the first, there were two people who had the role of monitoring the road and the movement of police patrols. There were 3 other people in the second vehicle, in the trunk of which 9 weapons were found and seized.

The weapons came from the northern area of ​​Shkodra and were destined to be sold to criminal groups based in Tirana.

Sabian Hasaj, Redi Nika, Denis Hasaj, Denisa Halilaj, Mirjan Hasaj have been arrested .
