The harassment of the wife of author Gazmend Buçpapa by Egli Pashollari is suspected to have been the cause of the stabbing of the 31-year-old on Friday afternoon on "Kongresi i Lushnjes" street in Tirana.

Buçpapa's wife, who works as a saleswoman at a market near the scene of the crime, told her husband about Pashollar's harassment.

Gazmend Buçpapa, along with his wife and another person, had a conflict with the 31-year-old man at around 15:40, where they stabbed him to death. After the incident, they left in Buçpapa's car, and after abandoning him, they took a taxi to their apartment in the Sharra area.

After they went home, Buçpapa fled, and is now being sought by the police. The perpetrator's wife was questioned and said that the victim often harassed me and did not leave me alone.

She was not arrested by the police. The author's parents were also questioned and gave the same version as the woman.

HOW THE EVENT HAPPENED

As soon as Egli Pashollari got out of the car, he was immediately attacked by 3 people, 2 boys and 1 girl. During the physical fight, one of the boys hit the 31-year-old at least once in the back.

The pastor was given first aid near a bar and was taken directly to the hospital in his own car by several other people, witnesses who were at the scene, but he could not survive and died on the way to the hospital.

"Around 15:40, it is suspected that during a conflict on "Kongresi i Lushnjes" street, citizen E. P, about 31 years old, was hit with a cutting tool, who as a result lost his life in hospital," the police announced yesterday.
