The Librazhd-Prrënjas national road has suffered massive cracks and asphalt subsidence near the area known as "Arrat e Gurrës".

The landslide, which occurred as a result of erosion on the Shkumbin River, continued this Saturday.

As a result of this situation, the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) has announced through an official announcement that the circulation of heavy tonnage vehicles and buses in this segment will be prohibited for safety reasons.

Following the previous announcement about the Librazhd-Pogradec axis, the place called Arrat e Gurrës, we inform you that the situation at the landslide site has significantly worsened in the last few hours.

After the on-site assessment, the Albanian Road Authority, in coordination with the State Police, announces that:

The circulation of heavy vehicles and buses in this segment will be prohibited until further notice, for safety reasons.

We call on heavy vehicle drivers and transport operators to avoid this axis and use alternative routes, until the situation is fully stabilized.

We ask for the understanding of all road users. Every measure taken has the sole purpose of guaranteeing life safety and preventing possible incidents.
