"They killed him, they didn't kill him, oh great God," the cohabitant of the 58-year-old executed with three bullets bursts into tears (VIDEO)

A 58-year-old man was executed this morning with three bullets in Vlora. The incident occurred in the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood, at 06:00 in the morning, as Renato Hoxhaj was going home.

According to information gathered by Top Channel correspondent Mikel Marsi, he was shot nearby while going to the apartment, at the stairs at the entrance of the building.

It was his roommate who heard the gunshots and then, upon seeing the dead body, notified the police. She burst into tears, saying "they killed him, they didn't kill him," and was later questioned by the police.

It is suspected that the perpetrator(s) may have entered from another street behind the neighborhood, which was like a path without security cameras and in total darkness.

While there is still no clue as to the cause, the Vlora police have also obtained security cameras from several nearby locations where it is thought the perpetrator may have passed.

The victim was divorced, a father of two children, and cohabited with a woman.
