An Albanian immigrant in Italy has become a local hero with a brave act, even risking his life, as he saved a young woman who was being violently attacked on the street by her ex-partner.

The aggressor was slapping her and threatening her ex-partner, while among the many people it was only the Albanian who prevented the escalation.

The agents of the Tivoli Police, in Guidonia (Rome), have arrested the 56-year-old suspect, who is accused of stalking, physical injuries and damage to his ex-partner. The DR suspect had shown signs of aggression after the separation, escalating the situation, as today the execution of the security measure "arrest in prison" was announced.

The media of the neighboring country reported that he had been stalking his ex-partner for a year, and the threats, insults and other interventions in her private life had not stopped.

Even after agreeing to one last meeting, she suffered physical aggression and threats, all the way to her office, after the perpetrator went to work. And on October 7, he chased her by car, stopped her and slapped her, so much so that she fell to the ground.

In this episode, the media "Latiburtinanews" writes that "it was a brave Albanian citizen, who did not look the other way, but attracted by the woman's screams, intervened in her defense". But he also became the object of the 56-year-old aggressor's attack. The name of the Albanian was not published.

After the denunciation and arrest, the suspect was imprisoned by the court, evidencing "the concrete possibility that the suspect will commit even more serious behavior to the detriment of the woman".

The court emphasized the act of the Albanian as a "cord of solidarity", even "endangering his life", to save the young woman from acts of violence on the street.
