The confession of the 17-year-old Albanian in Greece, the author of the knife wounding of the 18-year-old Greek on Monday, has caused shock in the general public opinion.
The teenager said that when he tried to take the bag from the 18-year-old Greek, he pushed him and for that he reacted by stabbing him.
"I grabbed his bag, but he pushed me and then I stabbed him twice, once in the stomach and once in the neck if I remember correctly," said the 17-year-old.
During his arrest, the Albanian was caught trying to hide his tracks by putting the clothes with the blood stains of the young Greek into the washing machine.
He further recounts how together with his accomplice they decided to rob the people they saw on the streets of the city of Athens near the Acropolis.
" We saw some people and decided to take their mobile phones. On the pretext that I wanted a cigarette, I approached him and asked him for one. When we got closer, I took one and took out a knife that I had in my left pants pocket, put it on his stomach and told him to give me his cell phone. I grabbed his bag but he pushed me and then I stabbed him twice, once in the stomach and once in the neck if I remember correctly ", he added in his testimony.
On the other hand, the wounded Greek is now in a more stable condition after the stab wounds he suffered. After the arrest of the 17-year-old Albanian, it was his mother who handed over to the police the bloody clothes that the latter had tried to put in the washing machine to wash when he was arrested by the police.
