The person you see in the photo below is the author of the murder of 50-year-old Ardian Nikulaj (Marku), at noon this Wednesday inside his bar in Shengjin, Lezha.

As can be seen in the photo, the motorcycle is a scooter type and has foreign license plates. The author acted alone, as he was wearing a phosphorescent vest and a spacesuit on his head. This moment was captured by security cameras.

The author came from the city of Shkodra, committed the murder and then left again towards Shkodra. It is suspected that he left the motorcycle in a deserted place and was then helped by other people to leave.

The perpetrator got off the motorcycle, entered the bar where Ardian Nikulaj (Marku) was sitting alone at a table, shot 6 bullets at him with a TT type pistol, where one of the bullets hit him in the forehead, one in body and 4 others at the mosque behind him. After the murder, the perpetrator left peacefully again.

For the elections of May 14, Nikulaj was a candidate for the Municipal Council in Lezhë with the Social Democratic Party of Tom Doshi, while in the 2021 elections he was also a candidate for deputy with this political force, and earlier he was the director of Aluizni in Lezhë. However, recently he had come out against the mayor of the SP, Pjerin Ndreu and supported the candidate of the "Bashke Fitomje" coalition.

However, it is also suspected of a crime or business connection, as he was a well-known name to the Police and very influential in his area. For the past two months, he was driving in an armored vehicle.
