One of the leads that the Police are investigating the assassination of businessman Ardian Nikulaj (Marku), who was executed at noon today at his bar in Shengjin, is blood feud.

Ardian Nikulaj in 2000, members of the Balaj family killed his brother. After this murder, two members of the Balaj family were executed in an assassination attempt in Lezhë, an event still unsolved.

Many years later, the other brother of the family, Ardian Nikulaj (Marku), was executed. After the assassination, the police carried out checks in the 3 apartments of the Balaj family in Lezhë. However, none of the family members and boys were found in the apartment.

They are located abroad and their claim is also confirmed by TIMS, which shows their exit from the country several years ago.
