The professional practice of teacher candidates has been shortened from one year to three months. The news was announced by the Minister of Education Evis Kushi through a post on social networks.

According to Kushi, shortening the internship allows teachers to participate more quickly in the portal and then also for employment. The Minister clarifies that the shortening of the practice period for teachers comes as a unification of the practice duration with other regulated professions, such as doctor, nurse and psychologist, who also have a three-month practice period.

I would like to inform all students and newly graduated teachers that by Order No. 437, dated 20.07.2022, with the new changes in the Professional Practice Regulation for the regulated profession of teacher, the practice period after master's studies will no longer last 1 year, but only 3 months (a teaching period).

The shortening of this period comes as a unification of the duration of practice with other regulated professions, such as that of doctor, nurse and psychologist, which also have the duration of practice of 3 months. This allows for faster participation of teachers in the portal and then also for employment.

In the focus of our attention are without a doubt the students, for quality and comprehensive education, but also the support and evaluation of teachers in their mission for the education of generations.
