The first session for the Elbasan incinerator fails, 2 lawyers are missing

The first session in the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime for the Elbasan incinerator has fundamentally failed.

The reason was the absence of two lawyers, namely Etleva Kondi, who was present, but asked to be present also the lawyer who was outside Albania and the lawyer of the company "Albtek Energi shpk".

The prosecution was represented by Klodian Braho, who was also part of the preliminary hearing. Basically, with the authorization of SPAK chief prosecutor Altin Duman, Arben Kraja has also joined the prosecution.

The prosecutors requested the suspension of the defendants' detention terms as they were the reason for the postponement of the hearing.

The former General Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Alqi Blako, and the former minister Lefter Koka were not present.

The next session was scheduled for April 7, at 2:30 p.m., while after this date, the process will take place every Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
