In a bar in the center of Kavaja, a fight that seems to have been going on for at least two years led to a double murder. Edmond Gosa alias Armand Gosa and Altin Rexha alias Sali Rexha, both 43 years old, killed each other this Wednesday, shooting one with a firearm, the other with a knife.

It is learned that the parties have started to fight with insulting words. Edmond Gosa then stabbed Rexha with a knife, and the latter retaliated by shooting at least 3 times in the direction of his peer.

The whole event happened in front of many witnesses, who were quite shocked by the serious event.

The causes of the conflict between the parties are currently unknown. The authorities have started investigations to clarify this serious event.

A resident told reporters that he knew both victims. 

"How are we not shocked? Kavaja is a quiet city that has never happened, never in the world. They are from Kavaja, we know them as faces. To be honest, I don't know anything" , said a resident.

Another said that he was very sad when he learned the news because in the city of Kavaja, such events are very rare.

"What can I say? I was surprised that I became curious because we Albanians are a little curious about everything that happens. I asked the boy about this and he told me that two boys were killed. I was sad instead. Let the young age go like this. Whatever it was, it doesn't come to that conclusion, young men. I can recognize their faces, but I don't recognize them, these are young guys, I believe. We know our age in general. I am very sad, may God protect the others and may God give strength to their families. Don't let such incidents happen to us anymore because our city is a peaceful city. There were no phenomena. Many a fight, before '90. They came from all over and our city got mixed up ," said the resident.
