A momentary conflict was the cause of the serious event that happened this afternoon in the city of Kavaja, where two people were killed.

Two people were involved in a physical fight and during the fight they hit each other, one shot with a pistol and the other with a knife and as a result, both people involved in the conflict were dead.

The victims are citizens Altin Rrexha from Kukësi and Edmond Gosa from Kavaja.

Altin Rexha from Kukësi was reportedly shot with a gun, while Edmond Gosa from Kavaja was shot with a knife.

"On 29.03.2023, in Kavajë, at the intersection of currency, there was a conflict between two citizens, where citizen Edmond Gosa, 43 years old, injured citizen Altin Rexha, 43 years old, with a knife, while the latter injured him with a firearm citizen Edmond Gosa.

As a result of the injuries received, the two citizens involved in the conflict died in the hospital.

The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
