On June 6-10, 2022, parents will be able to register their children at 39 public kindergartens in the municipality of Tirana.

Although the number of nurseries and kindergartens has increased, the demands are more than the capacities.

" They will select one of the kindergartens that belongs to their municipal unit, with two certificates, family and child certificates and certificates of the parents who are employed. This is because seeing the growing trend to receive public service, priority is always given to those children who need it most, who have parents at work. The number of requests in relation to opportunities is always high, which is why we always give priority first to the categories in need such as children coming from families treated by parents with financial assistance, children of parents with special needs or children with needs separate or coming from single-parent families ”.

According to the head of the General Directorate of Nurseries and Kindergartens, Zhaneta Beqiri, for those children in kindergartens who reach the age of kindergarten, registration will be easy.

" Children who have attended kindergarten in the season 2021-2022 and who reach the age of 3, until September 15, 2022, will be automatically registered in kindergarten ."

One of the priorities of the municipality of Tirana is the opening of these institutions near jobs. After the first garden that has been opened, two more are expected to open by September.
