The fight against piracy

The Audiovisual Media Authority AMA has started the fight against piracy by discovering a server that was located in Albania, where the Albanian platforms, TRING and DIGITALB, were included, together with the relevant sports channels. International sports channels were also broadcast.

"AMA inspection teams are in the field every day of the week. The fight we have declared against piracy and the cooperation with honest and legal operators strengthen our belief that, together with them, we can successfully fight this phenomenon.

During yesterday, as a result of field inspections, an OTT (OVER THE TOP) Server was found, accessible from all internet networks with web address: http://loc.ipalfa.org, which belongs to IP address 80.91.126.169. The technical tests carried out in the field proved that this server, which is located in Albania, included the Albanian platforms, TRING and DIGITALB, together with the relevant sports channels. International sports channels were also broadcast: Arena Sport 2, Arena Sport 3, Arena Sport 4, Bein Sport 3, Bein Sport 4, Bein Sport 5, Bein Sport 6, Bein Sport 7, DAZN 4.

AMA has sent this address to AKEP for further measures, throughout the country.

This is an action that continues and will not stop", writes Armela Krasniqi, president of AMA, on social networks.
