Joint operation with the Italian Antimafia to crack down on the group of Igli

The head of SPAK, Klodjan Braho, in a joint conference with the Italian Antimafia, shared details about the joint action that led to the execution of 15 measures.

He claimed that in this action, around 1 million euros in cash assets were seized, as well as assets derived from criminal activity, bank accounts and commercial companies.

" This is a joint result. 15 measures have been executed in relation to this case, 10 of which were executed by the Court of First Instance in Tirana."

It is an important element of this case, not only the crackdown on this organized drug crime activity, but also the product created by this illegal activity.

During the preliminary investigations, around 1 million euros in cash were seized. The Criminal Investigation and Prevention Court in Tirana also seized other assets, bank accounts, and companies suspected of being created through criminal activity.

"I want to mention operations "Spirit", "Kulmi" and "Ura" where 167 people were criminally convicted and 145 of them were given significant sentences ranging from 12 to 20 years in prison ," he said.
