After yesterday's accident in which he fatally hit a 7-year-old, director Petri Bozo has been arrested, A2 CNN learns, through police sources.

After the accident, Bozo told police that he was not speeding, but authorities believe he was speeding.

The serious incident occurred on Monday morning. At around 08:00, on the "Elbasan-Librazhd" road, in the village of Mengël, the vehicle driven by director Petri Bozo hit a 7-year-old child, who lost his life as a result.

The incident occurred near the 9-year school "Sulejman Rranci", located on the national axis "Elbasan-Librazhd". The minor had accompanied his sister to school together with their mother, while he himself was teaching afternoon classes at the same school.

The dynamics and circumstances of the accident still remain unclear, while the police have not yet given an official version of the event.

According to witnesses at the scene, after dropping their daughter off at school, the mother and son were heading towards a nearby store. At that moment, it is suspected that the 7-year-old was separated from his mother's hand and was hit by a vehicle driven by director Bozo.
