Details have emerged regarding the criminal past of the leader of the Albanian group, which was dismantled after an action by the Italian Antimafia, in collaboration with SPAK. The person in question is citizen Igli Kamberi.

Kamberi was arrested on August 8, 2015, along with another Albanian citizen, Artan Belliu. They were accused of being part of a group that planned to kill the head councilor of the Democratic Party of the municipality of Barletta, Pasquale Ventura. The shocking event occurred on January 20, 2015.

 It is learned that the murder of the chief councilor was ordered by his ex-wife, Conceta Dimatteo di Barleta, 40 years old, who was also arrested. At the time, Italian media reported that the chief councilor of the Democratic Party group in the municipality of Barleta, Pasquale Ventura, was shot several times with a pistol with the aim of eliminating him. After the investigation, it turned out that his wife, Concetta Dimatteo di Barletta, had paid 20-30 thousand euros to the Albanian intermediary Artan Belliu, 53 years old, for the elimination of her ex-husband, from whom she had recently separated due to strong economic and sentimental conflicts.
