The death of Xhuana Nikollaj, who allegedly ended her life by consuming fostoxin, has raised a number of questions, as her family members have rejected this version. The latter have leveled accusations against her ex-husband, Eraldo Fizi, claiming that he is behind this serious event.
Something like this has also been confirmed by her cousin, Mira Nikollaj, who during an interview for Top Channel raised suspicions about the 25-year-old's suicide.
Mira Nikollaj said that Xhuana realized that her marriage to Eraldo Fizi was wrong and therefore ended the marriage just three months after the wedding.
"One can imagine what two parents feel when they lose their eyesight; one can imagine their lives. Two parents who lose their child cast a shadow on the ground in vain. Their strength is their three other daughters, who are educated and have their own families. Xhuana was raised in this family by two simple, hardworking and honest parents.
Xhuana was a simple and educated girl. She had graduated from Law. In high school, she had the misfortune of meeting the wrong man. She only realized that he was wrong after the marriage, which lasted three months, because she realized that he was not the right person and the environment in which the couple lived was toxic.
"Xhuana decided to separate and her family supported her in this. They went and took the girl away and the separation was amicable. Xhuana worked in a law firm in Lezha, but decided to leave to avoid her ex-husband's environment and public opinion," she said.
Xhuana's cousin also stated that the young woman faced physical violence from her husband and father-in-law.
"It was her first love and she decided to break up after problems. She had problems with her mother-in-law, as her husband was influenced by his mother. When Xhuana asked to live alone with her husband, the boy's mother put pressure on her and kept her under control. There she faced violence not only from her husband, but also from her mother-in-law," she added.
Mira Nikollaj further raised several questions regarding the young woman's suicide. She stated that Xhuana had called her mother on the morning of the incident and told her that she was happy about her new job. According to her, Xhuana may have been forced to commit the serious act.
"I haven't seen them, but I know that signs of violence were found on Xhuana's body. I have some questions. What drives a 25-year-old girl, with a bright future ahead of her, to kill herself when she had made her choice? On the morning before the incident, she had called her mother and was very happy about her new job at a law firm.
"That same day, at dinner, they were going to celebrate their nephew's birthday, where they had prepared a party. When there was a party that day, why would he buy poison? We don't know what happened that day, but there are many suspicions. One letter is not enough. Who wrote the letter? Did she write it of her own free will or was she forced to? She was very attached to her father and she wouldn't be able to do this to him," she said.
