An American citizen, MF, 48 years old, has been arrested in Tirana, following a complaint from a 21-year-old woman who worked for him as a jewelry designer, an activity that was carried out online, but which occasionally took place in his rented apartment on "Bogdanëve" Street.

According to the girl's testimony, on December 1, 2025, while she was in his apartment to work, the citizen had sexual intercourse without her consent.

She also stated that the relationship continued after he blackmailed her by threatening to tell her family.

In her testimony, the 20-year-old stated that she was constantly harassed by the business owner, who, according to her, committed several episodes of sexual harassment in the workplace.

She also stated that the 47-year-old attempted to give her alcohol in order to get her drunk, while also claiming that he had abused her.

During the physical search of the 48-year-old, police also found a cutting tool. He faces charges of sexual harassment and stalking, and is expected to appear in court to be notified of the security measure.

Police announcement:

They detained foreign citizen MF, 48 years old, after a 21-year-old woman reported that she had been hired by him as a jewelry designer, work that was carried out online on behalf of the 48-year-old, in his rented apartment in Tirana, on "Bogdanëve" street.

According to the report, on 01.12.2025, while he was in this apartment to carry out his work activity, this citizen had sexual intercourse without her consent.

Also, according to her, the relationship continued after he blackmailed her into telling her family.
