Is there a 'Republic of Prosecutors' in Albania?, here's how Klodian Braho answers!

The candidate for head of SPAK, Klodian Braho , said that there is no republic of prosecutors in Albania, a term used in public communications to imply the great power of the institution he seeks to lead.

"I don't recognize it as a term. There is no republic of prosecutors in Albania," said Braho.

Asked if anyone would tell him that the stability of the country is more important than the dossier he has in his hands, Braho replied: " I have had issues that have caused effects, but I do not think that investigating an issue can bring about the destabilization of the country. Then, if this happens, the stability of the country is not resolved by advice, but the National Security Council convenes."

Asked about improving cooperation between prosecutors at SPAK, Braho said that in his capacity as head, he would give more authority to section heads.

"This would reduce the burden on the leader. By distributing some competencies and maintaining contact with the sections, I believe this will increase cooperation."

According to Braho, SPAK's biggest challenge is to mature and create standards. " It should no longer matter who becomes the prosecutor and director, but to have standards ," he said.
