Albanian worker in critical condition after falling from third floor into empty elevator shaft in building under construction!

A 51-year-old Albanian man is in hospital in critical condition after a work accident yesterday at a construction site on Ellinos Stratiotou Street in Patras.

According to information, the Albanian is suspected of having fallen from the third floor into an empty elevator shaft, sustaining serious injuries.

He was transported by ambulance to the University Hospital of Patras, where he is being treated intubated in the intensive care unit.

Police arrested the project supervisor, who was later released.
