The match between AEK Athens and Dinamo Zagreb, valid for the third qualifying round of the Champions League, has been officially postponed.
The decision to postpone the match came after the unprecedented violence on Monday evening in the Greek capital between the fans of the two teams, as a result of which an AEK supporter lost his life, who was shot several times with a knife.
As a result of the clashes in Athens, 8 other people were injured, while those arrested on both sides are over 100.
Controversy has erupted this morning in Greece over the incidents as Croatian fans, although banned from traveling to Athens, have traveled for hundreds of kilometers in organized cars and buses and have not been stopped for a moment by the police.
