The Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama gave an exclusive interview to the Italian media "Tutto Sport" where he was asked about the meeting tonight, where the Albanian National Team will face Italy in "Signal Iduna Park" in Dortmund. This match becomes even more exciting for Rama, because as is already known, he is an ardent fan of Juventus but also of the Italian national team:

Good morning Mr. Rama, Italy-Albania is valid this time for the European Championship. What effect does it have on you?

"Unbelievable. It will be the first time, and I hope the last time in my life, that I wish Italy not to win a match in the European Championship. But anyway, I would prefer a draw, which would look like a victory for our Reds and Blacks. I know that for the "Axurres", a draw with Albania would be the beginning of a trial against Spaleti. But, unfortunately, I can't wish Italy anything more than a draw."

What should we fear from Albania? And how do you think the match ends?

"You should be afraid of the clear supremacy of Albania in the stands, where we certainly win. We are a team that has nothing to lose. It could end either way, but as Italy never shine at the start of a tournament, I can hope for a draw."

Which player of the Italian national team would you like to join the Albanian team?

"Donaruma, without a doubt."

Will you go to the stadium, or watch it on TV?

"Of course I will go to the stadium."

Do you have any special rituals when you watch Albania's matches?

"No."

Which match of the National Team excited you the most?

"This is the Albanian National Team with the best game I remember. The group qualified by always playing good football and, at times, an exciting game."

What are your expectations for the atmosphere in Tirana?

"It is not Tirana that is looking forward to this European. In this National Team, the people of Kosovo, North Macedonia and Albanians in all parts of the world join Albania. Our twelfth player consists of 10 million hearts and in Dortmund it will be a red and black avalanche.”

If Albania was eliminated from the European and Italy advanced, would you support Italy?

"Always Italy."

In the Albanian National Team there are 10 footballers who play in Italy and three of the last four coaches have been Italian. What is the influence of Italian football on Albanian football?

"With De Bias, we came to the European Championship for the first time. Reja achieved a difficult transition, but collected more points than all other qualifying editions of the Albanian National Team. Better not to talk about Panuc. But I will tell you a secret. The advice of another great Italian influenced Silvinho's choice, Roberto Mancini. Italian football was our heaven when we lived in communist hell. The voices of Sandro Kioti and Bruno Pizul had an indescribable effect on us, not feeling alone in this black hole. When we saw the World Cup in Dino Zof's hands, it felt like it was in our hands."

How have the relations between Albanians and Italians been in the last 30 years and how do you judge them now?

"Now we are a people who are separated by the sea, but united in everything else. We are similar as two drops of water, in its strengths and weaknesses."

What cliché would you like Italians to hide from their perception of Albanians?

"I don't think there is anything left to erase. The dark times of the Albanian criminal have already been left behind."

Back to football, what does Spaleti look like?

"I had the privilege of knowing and seeing an extraordinary man. A great man. Then history speaks of his qualities as a coach."

Would you like him on the Juventus bench?

"Not getting him in the team was a shame, but maybe one day he will sit on that bench. He's still young."

Which side do you take between the division of Juventus fans, for and against Allegri?

"Alegrin was no longer supported by anyone and this could be noticed even before it was publicly confirmed. He wrote the history of Juventus. He did not walk away with all the honors he deserved. This is not a good sign for a club that let go in such a way a manager who gave them some of the most exciting moments in their history. Angel's excellent lessons should not be forgotten."

Do you like Tiago Mota?

Much is expected of him and his talent is undoubted. I hope he can handle the great pressure he will have as Juve's coach, even after Allegri's departure in that way. Let's not forget that Allegri won the Coppa Italia and led the team to the Champions League.

He has a close relationship with Bologna. Did you get to follow him last season?

"Yes of course, it was impressive."

Which player of the Albanian National Team would you recommend for Turin?

"Mario Mita, a 20-year-old full-back with a good left foot."

Is it easier for Juventus to return to win the championship this year, or for Albania to beat Italy?

"This question makes me smile... At this point I would say that it is more difficult for Juventus to win the championship than for Italy to allow themselves to be beaten by Albania."
