Super League clubs will use more foreign players

The Albanian Football Federation is opening the way for Albanian clubs to buy foreign players in bulk.

In a recent meeting, the executive committee of the AFL decided that from January 2025, Super League and First Category teams can activate up to 7 foreign players during a match.

While from the 2025-2026 season they can activate foreign players without restriction.

While for First Category clubs, the rule with 7 players will remain in force.

During the meeting, the proposals for the centralization of the VAR system and the proposal for the creation of a television platform FSHF-TV were discussed and approved.
