Albania will go down to the field of "Signal Iduna Park" at 21:00 on Saturday evening to play the first match of the final stage in Euro2024, against the reigning champions, Italy.
The red and black boys have prepared maximally for the challenge and the Albanian fans have taken the presence of the national team in the European Championship of Germany just as seriously.
According to ESPN , which cites sources, UEFA and German authorities are preparing for over 50,000 Albanian fans in Dortmund's 80,000-seat facility.
"Although Signal Iduna Park regularly holds over 81,000 spectators for club matches, the stadium will have a reduced capacity of 62,000 fans during Euro 2024 and UEFA sources have said that a large number of neutral section tickets for the opening match of Group B were bought by Albanian fans. Many Albanians living in Germany have bought tickets for their country's first match at a major tournament for the second time since Euro 2016, while reigning European champions Italy are expected to be supported by fewer than 10,000 fans for due to the vast majority of tickets bought by Albanian fans", writes ESPN.
That number of fans against Italy, according to ESPN, will be the largest traveling contingent of any team other than the host nation.
Further, the American media to show that the interest of the Albanians in the European is very high, underlines the fact that the Parliament has suspended the works for 10 days to enable the ministers and deputies to participate in the matches of group B against Italy, Croatia and Spain.
