Mauro Icardi has decided to tell his version of the separation from Wanda Nara. The marriage between the Galatasaray striker and his former manager is over. Amidst rumors, controversial breakups and new relationships – some real, some suspected – a long message from the player has emerged on social media.

The message contains 15 points, where the footballer denies the statements that have been made about him, including threats to publish private videos and accusations that have circulated in recent weeks. The person who once trusted him with his life and career has now become his main adversary. The message written by Icardi is not only an act of revenge, but also an attempt to protect himself and his daughters, who have ended up in the middle of an emotionally devastating story.

Icardi, statement on separation from Wanda Nara

"As you all know, it's not my style to reveal anything about my daughters," Icardi begins, citing the requests of a judge and the minors' advocate regarding the situation. He then reveals other details of his relationship with Wanda Nara. Here are his statements in 15 points:

1. “I was kicked out of my apartment on a false report of violence.”

2. "I was taken from my house at dawn on a Saturday in Santa Barbara, just hours before I was scheduled to have knee surgery. I filed another false report of assault and possession of a weapon, but the police failed to stop me. I had no weapon, I had not attacked anyone, and I was sleeping alone."

3. "They forced me to hand over my daughters on 12/13 and cut off my phones until 12/17 because their mother was traveling with her 'boyfriend' through Europe: she confirmed in a live broadcast that they had a 3-year relationship, while she was married to me and swore that they were just 'friends' to me and the girls (they keep blaming others, how hypocritical, right?)."

4. “On 12/25, the 'Mother of America' was supposed to pick up the girls because the courts had ordered them to spend Christmas with their father and New Year's with their mother, but since the lady was offended because they hadn't given her what she wanted, she went to Punta del Este without picking them up, saying that she didn't have the 10,000,000 pesos she asked for as a guarantee, but she had enough money for a private jet and all the usual circus she was showing, not counting that a few days ago I deposited 10,000 USD in her Italian account. So she broke the promise she made to the girls that she would go and look for them, leaving them stranded with their suitcases ready. For my part, faced with this abandonment, I decided without hesitation to cancel the plan I had to spend New Year's with friends and stay with my daughters as I have done for more than 2 years... during which she decided to prioritize her life over her daughters."

5. "When her 'vacation' ended, she wanted to force me to give her the girls, whom she had manipulated for 20 days, by calling them, because they themselves had told her that they did not want to leave their father's house. That they were happy, living in a family environment, calm, with children their own age, where there was no negative or denigrating comment about their mother."

6. "As if that weren't enough, she promised the girls that she would pick them up on 05/01, they waited for her dressed and full of hope, and again she left them behind. And she only met them on 06/12, after my lawyers intervened and I managed to convince her to meet the girls at a gas station, as she requested."

7. “I never speak ill of my daughters’ mother. I don’t even tell them that she decided to destroy the family for the person who was her lover of 3 years and who she ended up describing as her ‘girlfriend’… and for whom they settled in Argentina for 2 years while the girls went to school in Turkey! In fact… she was only in Argentina for three months when her lover was imprisoned there.”

8. “Let the ‘lover’ know that he was deceived just as much as I was… because in January 2023 she met the Senegalese player in Dubai, while his son’s birthday party was taking place on 25/01/23… and his siblings and relatives were celebrating and she arrived at 23:30… meaning 30 minutes before the end of her son’s birthday…”.

9. “The lady could work in Europe, as she had done successfully in Italy, because our daughters have never lived in Argentina.”

10. “The lady tries to make me look ridiculous in public… but I am proud that I fought and prayed to the point of absurdity to save our family, as my daughters often ask or demanded.”

11. “In trying to make fun of me, she doesn't care about the harm she causes to her children, when the private life of her mother, father or lover goes viral and the children have to watch their friends with shame…”.

12. “To conclude, after 20 days of not seeing her daughters, the first thing that came to her mind was to manipulate them, to get them to say cruel things, for which I have proof: they are all lies that will be revealed. She herself harbors so much hatred towards the person who is now on my side, making two 8 and 9 year old girls believe that our family was destroyed because of her, but she does not have the courage to tell the truth about her daughters. She herself decided to separate and make official an extramarital affair that began 3 years ago. Who is she lying to? Who is she trying to deceive? Enough with the lies for God's sake.”

13. “The worst part of all this is that my daughters have always known that Eugenia was 'La China'. They also searched for her on YouTube and Spotify to listen to her songs, which they have become fans of and for this I have proof… which I have chosen to preserve today for the safety of my daughters.”

14. “Everything I say and publish is because I am compelled by the lies and slander perpetrated by the mother of my daughters, without concern for their well-being and mental health.”
