Albania marks another important step towards membership in the European Union.

Today, in Luxembourg, the 10th Albania-EU Intergovernmental Conference is taking place, where the closure of negotiations for Chapter 20, "Enterprise and Industrial Policy", is expected to be formalized.

With the closure of this chapter, Albania reaches four provisionally closed chapters, continuing the progress of membership negotiations and the objective of concluding them within 2027.

Chapter 20 relates to entrepreneurship development, industrial policies, business support, innovation and increasing the competitiveness of the Albanian economy.
