Russian President Vladimir Putin has been closely following the 2026 center and military exercises in the Chelyabinsk region in the Urals. More than 47,000 military personnel are taking part in the exercises, according to figures released by Putin himself.
The Russian news agency, RIA, reported that Belarus, China and Pakistan are among the countries that sent their troops to participate in these military exercises.
Putin did not hesitate to speak during the exercise with foreign military attaches and gave them a tour of the exhibition displaying the latest Russian weapons.
The Russian leader closely inspected these exercises, just a day after he said that the world is living in dangerous times and warned the West not to escalate pro-Ukrainian positions, threatening the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad, which Moscow made clear it would defend, even with nuclear weapons if necessary.
The Russian president admitted that he has no plans to attack any European country, on the contrary, he wants peaceful coexistence.
In addition, the Kremlin chief admitted that Moscow will use its entire arsenal, including nuclear weapons, to protect Kaliningrad, which is currently under threat from Poland and Lithuania.
