Vangjel Tavo, the SP candidate for Mayor of Himara, voted around 10:30 at the voting center in Palasa.

In a statement to the media, Tavo considered the voting process so far to be peaceful and wished that the same atmosphere would continue in the following hours until the end.

Tavo has addressed a call to citizens with the right to vote to participate en masse in the process and choose the best alternative.

Today , Himara and the Himariots have the right to vote. The process has been very smooth, I hope that this process will continue until the end of the voting process. I call on all Himariots to go to the polls en masse and vote for the best alternative ", said Tavo.

Regarding the problem of voters with expired identity cards who were not allowed to vote, Tavo said that everything is defined in the law. " I have no comment, the law provides for everything ," Tavo said.
