Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Yuri Kim met in the USA with David Wisner, who will serve as the next charge d'affaires of the American embassy in Tirana.

"The Assistant Secretary on Duty congratulated Mr. Wisner for his new assignment in Albania. They discussed the strong US-Albania partnership and ongoing cooperation in the fields of democracy, defense and business," the US embassy in Tirana announced.

"The incoming Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Tirana, David Wisner, recently met with Yuri Kim, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, in Washington DC. The Assistant Secretary on Duty congratulated Mr. Wisner for his new assignment in Albania. They discussed the strong US-Albania partnership and continued cooperation in the areas of democracy, defense and business," the US Embassy said.
