Prime Minister Edi Rama today visited police officer Redin Çaushaj in the hospital, injured a few days ago with a knife in the neck when he intervened in the village of Pilur in Himara to quell a conflict.

Rama shared a photo where he can be seen shaking the hand of the young policeman who is hospitalized under the care of doctors, but fortunately out of danger for his life.

"Respect for Redin Chaushaj, the young man of the State Police who was injured by intervening and avoiding the worst between two individuals in a dangerous fight", writes Rama on Facebook.

We remind you that only a few hours after the serious incident, the perpetrator of the crime was handcuffed by the colleagues of the injured policeman.
