Vucic vows to avoid conflicts with Rama: What do you want, let's make
Rama, Vuçië and Kovacevski

Prime Minister Edi Rama is at the wine fair in Bardolino, Italy, where he held a tripartite meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski.

While talking about the increase in commercial exchange between the three countries thanks to "Open Balkan", Rama added that Kosovo is a point of disagreement with Serbia.

"Sometimes there are really big disagreements between us, especially when it comes to Kosovo and this is the reason to talk more. Dialogue is the most important thing", he said.

While talking about Kosovo, Rama said that from the meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, he understood that the latter was more constructive than other times.

"If we had continued not to speak to each other and remained at the barricades of the past, today we could have been in a very bad position with all the crises that have unfolded only on the borders of Europe. Obviously we have a big disagreement or a big distance when it comes to what you call Kosovo and Metohia and I call it Kosovo. This is reason to talk more. I met with Kurt a few days ago and he is more open and constructive than before. I told him and I repeat that we must encourage and make sure that the Association and the religious aspect of the dialogue are guaranteed 100% for the Serbian citizens in Kosovo who are a minority and should be seen as a bridge to the future, not a problem between all of us in the future" , said Rama.

On the other hand, the Serbian president said that Kosovo-Serbia relations can be normalized without the aggressive part being involved in this, adding that together with Prime Minister Rama, he will do his best to avoid a conflict.

"I don't blame Ed, that he doesn't do that with me. Economics is the real foundation. I am proud that Albanians feel safe, secure and very welcome. It is the same thing when Serbs flee to Albania. Well, what are we going to do? Let's fight, make another Ukraine or what? I see there are a lot of people waiting to see a big crash? What do you want from us? I will do my best to avoid it, Eddie is doing the same. It's easy to talk, we know our differences and live with them. I believe in the future friendship between Albanian and Serbian citizens," said Vucic.
