Under the accusation of violating national security, the Socialist Party has requested the urgent launch of investigations for the MPs of the Freedom Party, at the same time the wife of former president Ilir Meta, Monika Kryemadhi. From the Assembly, deputy Toni Gogu said that the investigative body will have to start the investigations and discover the connections that Kryemadhi has with Russia.

" The deputy in the Parliament of Albania has given and received with companies that have sponsored Putin, that has bled Ukraine. The documents are a clear proof of the links with the Russian influence in the region and Europe.

Western intelligence revealed that it has used all means to undermine democracies in Europe. These documents, which show that Kryemadhi has made transactions, are a strong alarm bell for the country's national security. We know that Russia's goal is to create a pro-Russian front in the Balkans.

Such payments, like the 500,000 dollar financing in DP, show the vulnerability of Albania and show that the dark Russian connections in Albania and the region have been established. That is why it is extremely important for us all to be concerned today. Albania is an ally of the countries that today are protecting the territorial integrity of Ukraine. the chief must answer some questions. Why did he not declare these payments? What connection does the lady leader have with the Russian oligarchs who sponsor Putin's party. How can the wife of the former president have an offshore account?! How can a politician be immersed in such things?! How can it be normal to ignore responsibilities when national security is threatened? This is what Kryemadhi and her husband do for all the accusations against the allies, and they complain to the justice bodies. We call on the law enforcement bodies to initiate investigations into these suspicious payments. The prosecution cannot proceed, as national security has been compromised", said Gogu.

This statement comes a few days ago, sensitive data came out that talk about the involvement of Monika Kryemadhi, former head of LSI, in suspicious financing and payments from offshore companies controlled by Russian oil businessmen. 

Kryemadhi is accused of receiving two payments from Holdem Holdings Limited, a company incorporated in Cyprus, owned by Russian oil oligarchs Alexander Smizukov and Alexander Kaplan. Kryemadhi has also made a payment to Vradus Holdings of another Russian, Vitaly Savvin. These transactions are not declared in ILDKP. Kryemadhi has denied that he has shares and accounts abroad, but the documents confirm the opposite.
