The candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition for the Municipality of Devolli, Elvis Hajdërlli, admitted in the decriminalization form that he was sentenced to 6 months in prison by the Greek justice system.

He explains that the Court of Thessaloniki in Greece has sentenced him to 6 months in prison under the charge of falsifying the documents used to cross the Greek border. Hajdërlli has served his sentence in Thessaloniki, the place where he was imprisoned by the Greek authorities.

In the criminal code of the neighboring country, this is considered one of the serious criminal offenses that is mainly used by organized criminal groups for human trafficking.

It remains to be seen whether or not law enforcement authorities will disqualify Hajdërll to run in the May 14 local elections.
